WORSHIP

Worship is the centre of the church’s life.

The two Sunday services bring together all the church family, not so much to meet each other (though that is important) but to meet God. In addition to our own minister, worship is also led by a number of local and visiting preachers. Participation by members of the congregation is encouraged, for worship is a corporate expression of our individual faiths. The choir, and occasionally the band, contribute to worship in both traditional hymns and modern songs.

                  About Us

Communion - Communion is celebrated about once a month at each of the main services but on the first Sunday of each month there is (usually) a Communion Service at 9.15am, which many members value for it’s quieter atmosphere. There is also a quieter mid-week communion service on the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm.

Morning - Our main service is held at 10.45am until 11.45am. This service can vary from week-to-week. We have a Family service once a month when the children and young people join in the whole service. We also have communion at the morning service once a month and sometimes have baptisms.

Many of our services are recorded on audiotape for use by the housebound.  We also have an induction loop system in the Church for hearing-aid users, just switch to “T” on your hearing aid.

Evening - The evening service has a smaller congregation and quieter atmosphere. Again, communion is held once a month.

Mid-Week - We have recently begun a mid-week meditation service once per quarter – look out for details on our notice board and Diary page.
