Drama Workshops
The
Drama Workshops take
place on the first Saturday of every month and last for 4 hours. All children
over the age of 7 are welcome.
The workshops offer drama,
music, dance, and craft. They help children develop confidence in performing and
they learn to work within a team
environment.
We encourage the children
to create dance moves, some of which have been used in our productions.
In sessions we look at
different aspects of drama, such as mime and stage presence.
Within the workshops we carry out activities to help the children think
about the way they speak on stage.
The results of our recent
drama workshops in relation to our Pantomime include:
| A collage poster which advertised Mother
Goose (within the Church) | |
| Golden Eggs used as props in the Pantomime | |
| Robot dance, part of the Rocket Scene |
If you are interested in joining please email the Church.
