Drama Group

In February each year there is a Pantomime where children from the age of 7 experience the fun of appearing on stage with adult group members. Rehearsals begin in October, and as the performances approach there are practices on Sunday afternoons. Each year over 60 people are involved on stage or behind the scenes.

Occasionally there are religious performances held in the Hall or in the Church. There are many roles within the Group, appearing on stage, stage building, lighting, sound, music, properties, costumes etc. Each performance requires a great team effort but provides a lot of enjoyment and friendship. 

We hold Drama Workshops on the first Saturday every month between 10am and 2pm, this includes dance, drama and craft activities.  The workshops help to encourage the confidence of the children and having a good time a long the way!

During 2009 we were pleased to had been short listed for a 'Spirit of Merseyside Award' .  We attended the awards evening in June, we did not win but had a very enjoyable night!
